Uti without symptoms?

I'm 32 weeks everything is looking good but doctor wanted to test for uti because I complained about BH/contractions keeping me up and waking me up, painful etc. Do symptoms go hand in hand? I'm not far enough to want to deliver just yet, if I don't have uti then she wants me to come in on Thursday to check and see what's going on... I've never had uti or any infections (yay me)...

With my first I didn't know I had one until it went on to be a kidney infection. At least Dr is being thorough. Best if luck!

It is possible to have a UTI without symptoms. Other than that, sounds like your doc is just being cautious and thorough.
