Very Frustrated

Ok, here we go. No one has heard of this and I am trying anything I can to get answers.  I had a cs 2 yrs ago and everything went well. Then 2mos after cs I had a tubal ligation and the dr had to reopen my cs incision to complete the surg.  I got an infection from the hosp staff and my incision had to be reopened and drained and I had a wound vac in place for a couple mos then packing after that for the wound to heal from the inside out. Well all was fine for a yr and a half and then this last Oct I bent over to pick up my kids' toys and pop, my incision came open. Believe me it was like giving birth right there in my living room.  Well I have been to lots of drs, had 2 surgeries and 2 blood transfusions and now I am seeing specialists at the Mayo Clinic in MN(I live in Iowa). I have plastic surgery scheduled for next month which they have to reconstruct my vagina(the outside) since my incision is sinking into my belly. It is very hard to explain. But not to be gross my incision healing looks like when an older person doesn't have their dentures in, how their mouth can pucker. That's what it looks like.  I am wondering if anyone has heard of this happening or knows anyone?  I am just so frustrated and feel alone because no one knows exactly how I feel or understands my frustration. Please let me know. Thank You. Jessica

Oh, im sorry about the cs problems. I can only imagine what u r going through. I have a 2 year old but i never had a cs but i did get my tubies tied and that little insicion hurts so i can only imagine a bigger one and what u discribed. And i think that i would probably be sobbing or really scared. I hope everything goes well at the mayo clinic. If you need anyone to talk to im here for u. keep us posted. :-)

Oh, Jessica I am so sorry to hear about your incision and all the problems, I cant even imagine what you must be going though and then to have to chase a two year old around!
I have not been through what you describe, but I do have a 3 1/2 year old and she was born cs and that alone was very difficult for me because I had no help,(DH was working,)
I am hoping your surgery goes well at the mayo clinic and I wish you the best of luck,
Lisa
