Wants to be a mommy!!

My last period was March 13-15.  It started out with a lot of bloody discharge.  We have been ttc for a couple of years.  We were successful 2 years ago, but I miscarried.  We have since tried 4 IUIs with no luck.  We've taken a break from the IUIs, but not given up on conceiving.  I'm now at day 18 of my cycle and I'm usually 27-28 days.  On 3/29 we had "relations" and the next morning I noticed brownish blood when I wiped.

That continued throughout the day yesterday, but only when I wiped.  Today, same thing.  But, I put a panty liner on, just in case.  I went to the ladies room and there's a half-dollar size spot in the liner, but only minimal light brown blood when I wipe.  Could it be possible that I'm pregnant?

Thanks for the post.  Trust me, I'm the queen of peeing on a stick.  Whether it's OPK or EPT!!!  I think we should buy stock in these companies!!

We've been trying for so long and it seems like everyone around us is getting pregnant.  I just wish it would rub off on us!!!

if you're LMP was 3/15/09 and assuming you ovulated on 3/29/09, you would really be able to tell until April 12 or so.   Since you had intercourse the night before, that could be the reason for the break through spotting.  However, there are many things that cause break through bleeding.   You say you cycle is 27 to 28 days....I don't think the spotting is related to pregnancy.   You can tell for sure if you take a hm pregnancy test close to or after you next cycle due date.

I'm with you, I want to be a mommy too!!  The unfortunate reality is that many of the things that can happen to our bodies normally...such as mid cycle spotting, even breast tenderness, etc.  may or may not be signs of pregnancy. I know, it can drive you nuts.  Many of the symptoms I experience in the week or so leading up to my period could also be pregnancy symptoms.  The only thing you can do is wait a few more days and take an early home pregnancy test.  First Response is really great at picking up the pregnancy hormone super early...I have had it give me a positive a week before period was due.  However, if it is negative, it doesn't mean your not pregnant, it just means that if you are, the HCG levels are not high enough yet.  Wait a few more days and test again...you'll be a "pee on a stick addict" like me in no time...lol.  Good luck to you!!!
