Hi ,
This is really good news that your wife is pregnant naturally at the age of 50. I think she consults to a gynecologist for her regular checkups.
Thanks.

Wow, that's really rare to get naturally pregnant at that age!  And is your baby healthy that she had at 49?  I sure hope so and good for the two of you.  As to her health, well, again, there is always complications of being of advanced age.  Those are something to work with her doctor on.  They will likely make her 'high risk' and monitor her more closely. The other issue and why I asked about donor eggs is that they can be lower quality when they are ours in the later years.  Chances of birth defects go up significantly.  But hey, this is all possibilities and young women can have issues too.  You've just been through this so probably not a lot has chanced in the year since she had your first child.  Did everything go okay with that?

Hi there.  Your wife was 50 last year and had a baby?  That's pretty good!  And she is getting pregnant naturally or are you going through fertility treatments?  Advanced maternal ages always has added risks to the risks of pregnancy that already exist.  But today's modern medicine makes it easier for sure.  I was older.  Did she use a donor egg or anything like that?
