What's your story of becoming pregnant?

I'm 37, I had my second baby in early 2015.  Hubby and I wanted a 3rd but were at odds.  He preferred to wait, while I didn't.  In Mar we would officially begin TTC, but fought and we put it off for 4 mos. August rolls around and we finally got on the same page, and I just got my BFP on Wed - I was in shock since we only had sex once during my fertile window, but my hubby knew from the moment he made his deposit that there was a baby in there...lol.  We are happy to finally say we're expecting our 3rd hoping all goes well and baby sticks.

Whats your story?  Would love to hear. Congrats in advance to all. :)

Hi I'm 41 and pregnant with my second baby. I was told I'd never be able to have children because of uterine fibroids(50 or more) and was scheduling a hysterectomy. I just prayed and told God I knew he had a plan for my life and I was trusting him. Three days before I found out I was 8 weeks pregnant I had a perfect pregnancy and delivery of a beautiful baby girl in nov 2014. So this baby is a major shock wince we weren't even suppose to have our first one. This time I'm due in Jan 2017 and having a baby boy. I'm a very blessed woman and so excited for this new blessing in my life. Congrats to you, hope everything goes well with your pregnancy.

I am 37 going on 38 in mid-September and I am 8 weeks pregnant with our first child today after my first IVF cycle in July 2016!!! Four years of TTC'ing -- two failed IUIs, crappy Clomid moodswings, and a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks in May 2014 -- and our golden egg/embryo is thriving and super on track as of my last ultrasound this past Tuesday, 8-23. Hearing the heartbeat at a strong 158 bpm blows my mind. I never thought I would get to be a momma; so grateful my kind and patient husband will be a Dad. So excited for our due date of April 7, 2017. Congratulations to everyone!!

Hi im 38 & expecting my 2nd baby 13 april 2017. I have a little boy who will be 4 in december. My last pregnancy ended in march last year a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks. We have been trying for a sibling for our little guy since he was one so i desperately want this baby to survive and fill that big gap in our family.

I am 36 and pregnant with my fourth. I had an IUD and was not trying. We were determined the next babies would be grandchildren. I started early, I have a 15 yr old, 13 yr old and a 10 year old. We thought we were home free. Alas the universe had other plans. I am due in January and despite a very rocky start, we are warming up to the idea of starting over. We are happy. I never thought I would have 2 high schoolers and a new born...good luck to everyone.

I'm 34 and in April we found out we were finally pregnant after nearly a year trying! When I was 4w2 I was rushed to ER with crazy bleeding, but the little bub was hanging in there dispute a large haemorrhage! I continued to bleed very heavily and was in fact told if was miscarrying at nearly 7weeks! Two days later we saw a healthy heartbeat on the ultrasound and a reducing hemorrhage but unfortunately this time we were told the sac was very irregular. I had a scan at 9w2 days and there was no heartbeat!!  I chose to let the miscarraige happen naturally and after 7 LONG weeks my HCG hit zero! Less than two weeks later I had my period and here we are now after cycle one back on the wagon and even though everything feels totally different this time I'm beside myself with anxiety at times!!!  I'm only 4w1 and trying to focus on each day!!!

I am 40. Last August, my first  pregnancy ended in a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks. It was very shocking and I didn't really feel like myself, especially physically, for a few months. In May, I got pregnant again. The first trimester was very rough in that my morning sickness was relentless and I was so nervous about having another miscarriage. I am now 16 weeks and due Feb. 10th. I visit both my obstetrician and a high-risk maternal-fetal Doctor and so far so good. Good luck to everyone:)
