When can I get started with the baby making???

I had the mirena taken out on June 5th in hopes of getting pregnant. I have experienced the breakthrough bleeding I was told I would have as a side effect however, I have not gotten my period. I have not had any sexual intercouse since having the mirena taken out. I was told that I should have a menstral cycle before I start trying to have a baby. Well, I was suppose to start but it has not happened.  My husband is a truck driver and will be home next week for a week. He is gone 6 to 8 weeks at a time. Can we start trying when he gets home next week? What are the chances that if we have sex while he is home that I will get pregnant???

Signed,

Wishing this will happen already

Guess I should clarify-by "trying" I meant to not think about "could this be the time we conceive?" It's hard not to but it seemed to work better for us.

Ok. I don't know when u can start trying but don't stress about it...i went off the pill November of last year and wanted to get pregnant ASAP. Soooo every month i would b disappointed when my period would come. Finally when i got my March period i gave up. I was like...u know what if god wants to send me another child he will do it on his time. So i forgot about it and sure enough i missed my April period and i couldn't believe it. Don't stress and u will have yourself a baby.

Don't put so much pressure on yourself. Relax & have fun with it! And yes, you can start trying when he gets home. I think the less you try, the more success you'll have.
