Who here is actually age 35+

Altho I don't mind cross-posters, I would like to be able to relate to expecting mothers in my own age group (the purpose of this form). Who here is actually 35+?   I'm 39

The forums based on "weeks" are by due date month this forum is based on age because they are very different issues that arise based on how old you area when you conceive. It's obviously a common mistake but I do wish they would change the names to specifically state "35+ years old"

Hi! I am 42 and pregnant with my 5th. Due in October. I have 4 daughter 24, 19, 17 and 4. I feel very blessed. I am a bit nervous as I lost a baby boy at 14 wks in Sept (trisomy 18) and it broke my heart. My doctor told my the chance of that happening again is extremely low. I feel good about this pregnancy :) Its so nice to find other 40+ moms on here. Sometimes society can make you feel so alone.

And to gamma micky. Don't ever apologize for deciding to keep your child again. I would not have made the same choice but that's me and I have my reasons but I don't have to make that choice so I will never know in the end what I would actually do. You are doing what's right for you and your family. Do not every apologize for taking the longer road. You're more of a hero than I could ever be...

I'm 46 and pregnant with my fourth. The first three are 14, 16 &2 all girls..

We are very lucky. Natural accidental conception, extremely healthy baby boy! We went through extensive testing to confirm that 100%  I'm 30 weeks and healthier than with my other the pressures combined!  We're all thrilled. Good luck!

I am a 44 yr old mother of 3 girls 22 20 and 18... 1 boy 12 .... A grandma of 2 almost 3 lol... I thought I had food poisoning for 3 days ... Took home preg ... The.first day I missed my period ... Boy was wrong ... I was in shock ...I have been blessed again !!! I love my life ... I found an ob... Before my first appointment I had a bad hemorrhage 911 the whole deal I was petrified thought I lost my little booger... At 8 weeks saw my doctor was still bleeding Alittle but ultrasound looked fine baby looked great ... Placenta had torn away from uterus ... At 10 weeks I had the harmony test ... Doctor said because of my age I was high risk ... For downs ... Trisomy 21 .... The test came back a week later ... She called me in for an early appointment ... I was so excited because the harmony test is ... My blood taken ... And babies DNA extracted from my blood ... I was going to find out the sex .... She explained my results ... DNA showed the xtra chromosome... Trisomy 21 ... She said my baby has downs ... I cried ... Was drepressed ...prayed ... And have done way to much googling.... Knowing in heart I do not believe in termination ....I have come to realise after a lot of praying ... Not only have I been blessed to have a beautiful little girl .... God has blessed me with an even more special gift ... I can not wait to hold her ... To see her... To love her ... I feel so priveledged and so excited that god thinks I am special enough to bless me yet again to love this special little girl downs or not ... I'm 15 weeks now .... I hope I have not offened anyone with my opinions ... 400,000 Americans have downs ... 92 percent of women who find out they are having a downs baby abort ... It's hard to believe ... Or Understand .... But I know we all have a choice .... I'm choosing love my baby No Matter What !!!

I'm 36 expecting my 4th (boy) (34wks3days along) I have an 18yo boy, 15yo girl & 3 yo girl. This one has definitely been more difficult...constantly tired, and a lot of pelvic pain. But we are definitely done with kids.
