I posted this on the younger page but wanted different age group opinions. My husband is a junior and so we are naming our son Raymond Estrada Hernandez III after my husband and my hunsands father. We originally agreed to just call the baby RJ but I recently thought of calling him Trey instead like for the number 3. What do you guys think? I know the family name is import which is why I agreed for the birth certificate but definitely can't decide if growing up hell be RJ Hernandez or Trey Hernandez. (I know there isnt a J in his name but my hubby was called that growing up).

Your hubby was probably called RJ becuase he was Raymond Jr. Trey is cute and you can always have more than 1 nick name

I had a student whose name was George and he was third so he went by trey. I thought it was cool

Trey is a unique way for you to identify him! Love it! Maybe your husband and his family will call him RJ out of habit/tradition? Could be confusing if your hubby is still RJ to his family.
