Hello ladies.... I am a new mom to a beautiful 2 week old baby girl:) I noticed today that her tongue was a little white so I tried to wipe it off but only a little came off (my son never had this so I don't know what it coould be) so I looked online and I found that it could be thrush?? But I wash and boil her bottles so how could she get this, if it is thrush...and also I read it goes away on itself or by meds...so my question is should I wait the weekend and see how she does or should I take her in the morning to her doctor, any advice plz! But she don't seem like she in pain or anything....

Get her checked out. Sometimes it'll go away but from my experience a lot of the time it doesn't and it can become painful and then baby won't want to drink.

I thought my lad had thrush on his tongue but he didn't, it was a build up of breast and formula milk. He never had any of the thrush symptoms either, just whiteness on tongue that wouldn't clean off. I'd let a health visitor or gp have a look if your unsure :) good luck x

I would take her to the doctor. At the wic the lady told me it is best to take the baby to doctor if they would get thrush.
