I agree with the ladies, it could be early labor but could be dehydration also. My friend is 36 weeks and was getting them all day, doc told her to drink more water and they're gone now. I also notice that i get them more often when i dont drink my fluids.
Thanks ladies... I'm pretty sure I'm in early labor. Last night i had 2 rounds of real contractions that were 4 mins apart but only lasted for about 2 hours each. I'm still having more BH today and some contractions but not regular. I'm thinking this baby girl will be here by the end of the week!!!
I'm 38 weeks and I've been having painful bh for 3 months. Even the painful ones don't feel the same as labor contractions. So I'm just drinking plenty of water and resting until something changes.
Ive heard more than 4 braxton hicks an hour is sign of early labor. Yry drinking more water and resting if you can. At 38 weeks you're so close to having baby that its probably normal. Good luck!
Considering that your 38 weeks it could possibly be that your beginning early labor (stage 1). I personally get Braxton Hicks daily, sometimes 4+ an hour and they are quite painful for me. This is my 7th pregnancy, my 7th child! I have lost my mucus plug at 34 weeks, yet my Braxton Hicks have been nothing but "practice contractions", that's actually a Braxton Hicks are. Your body is preparing itself for labor but that doesn't necessarily mean, it will be today, tomorrow or this week in general. I am 35 weeks and 5 days, still no active labor although I get Braxton Hicks often.
Hi hun, it also sounds like early labour.. don't forget to check if everything is in order and time it frequently as well. Goodluck
Can you time them? They may be regular contractions if they are patterned. My contractions are never very painful until my water breaks.
My doctor told me if I am having regular BH to call, it may actually be labour!!!!
Sorry forgot to say I'm 38 weeks.....
Yes your close to labor if your 37-38 weeks
