I am so sorry for your loss. I had a missed abortion back in June and had a d&c on June 10th. I had gotten pregnant via IUI and my doctor said I had to wait until I got my 2nd period after the d&c before they could start another IUI round. I don't know if IVF is the same.
I am very sorry for your loss.. I too have been in your situation before.. It's not easy either way you look at it.. Just know that your body will get back to normal, and then you can try again.. Please dont give up.... For me it's God's way of letting me know that my little bean was sick ,and I for sure did not want a sick baby... My prayers are with you through this time , and God Bless you.... Mary...
So very sorry for your loss!

So So Sorry :( Im sending hugs your way.
As for what to do? Well, truy, every miscarriage starts out as a "missed abortion". It typically takes some time for the body to recognize it is no longer pregnant. You can wait for things to happen naturally if you choose. How long it will take is different for everyone. But there is no reason not to if that is your preference.
Many women in this situation choose to take medication to speed the process up. It is still a natural process, just some help in helping your body realize what has happened.
Third option is a D&C. It is a minor procedure typically done under local anestetia. It is very quick and typically completely painless. I have had it done 3 times. Some women prefer it because it allows the physical healing to happen faster, and your body to get back to normal again quickly.
THere is no right or wrong answer. It is best to talk to your Dr. who can help you decide what is best for you. There is also no need to make a decision immediatly.
Again, I am so sorry, and I wish you peace and healing. All the best to you.
