I'm getting my third c-section on Friday.  My first was an emergency & recovery was a lot harder than it was with the second one.  I read somewhere that emergency c-sections are a harder recovery.

I recently had a second cc-section as well as my tubes tied. I think this one was much easier. I had less pain with this one and have been able to be more active. Good luck.

I think it get easier bcuz U know what to expect... But nerves get to me. My 1st born was an emergency C, 2nd was a planned C. Recovery w 1st C was long hard & terrible-but I think bcuz I had hard natural labor for 17hrs, then our vitals dropped, so the C, baby went to NICU, I was alone in recovery for 12+ hrs being monitored. 2nd birth-I went in was prepped for surgery, gave birth via C, dad cut the umbilical cord, once in recovery I was able to nurse & hold my baby. Most importantly get up & walk ASAP, you'll have gas-so fart, walk at home, eat easy food to stomach-soup, fruit, etc, lots of water. Check out Pinterest there are some good reads about the ease of a 2nd Csection. For me between the 2 Cs was night & day, I don't know if bcuz the 1st my body had gone through so much & it was so traumatic not knowing what was happening to baby in NICU etc. but my 2nd C was much easier.
