duodenal atresia

hi.....ladies im 37 yrs old and 25 weeks prenancy on 06/12/2014 i went to check- up my gyn discover that my baby have a duodenal atresia .anybody who know anything about this condition please help

I'm surprised the doc didn't explain what this issue was smh!  How can they tell U THERES a problem and not explain?

It can be treated through surgery once the baby is born.

Duodenal atresia is a condition in which the first part of the small bowel (the duodenum) has not developed properly. It is not open and cannot allow the passage of stomach contents.

I would Google and ask your doctor to explain it in more detail. Will be praying for you and your baby.
