hii had a D&C on the 14th nov. this was our 4th mc in a row. we decided we were going to wait for a while to try again. it as been 4weeks and 2 days since the d&c and i had a feeling today and done a clearblue test and it as came up 2-3 weeks today would this be right or is it from my last mc... not sure what to think...

hi thanks girls. i have been with the doctor and going my the urine it is a pos and going was the result on the clearblue saying 2-3 weeks the doctor thinks it is a new pregnacy... not sure what to think we didnt plan this one we wanted to wait a wee while after the last mc a month ago....

I agree with the above 2 comments.  You need to have your blood tested at least twice..a week apart to see if it is falling.  It took mine 6 weeks to get below 5 (what it needs to be) after my D&C.  I was only 8 weeks.

It took awhile for my hcg levels to all back to normal after my m/c. I would definitely get a blood test done.  It also depends on how far along you were when u m/c.  I was back to normal within a week of my m/c when I had been 10 weeks.  I've read about others who its taken 2 months.  Save yourself the emotional rollercoaster and just have them test the hcg level in your blood.

I'm really sorry about all the m/c's you've had to endure. Did you do any follow up after the D&C for them to check your hCG levels?  I was trying to remember how long it took mine to get back to 0 when I had my D&C and I just can't.  it may just be a good idea to have them checked cos they'd be able to determine if they are rising (a new pregnancy) or still falling.  I certaininly wish you luck and hope this is indeed a new pregnancy.
