i need some help..
The date of my last missed period was May 1st 2013, & every since then the doctor has been telling me my due date is Feb 6th 2014... But I changed doctors because of some mishaps that we had. & now my new doctor keeps telling me my due date is Feb 16th & according to my records its always been the 16th . I just need to know if their is any way I can figure it out on my own . Because Ive been excited thinking thr time for my babygirl to be here is coming soon & now I'm loosing hope . Please help.
Well the first day of the missed period I had (the period I missed to actually assume I was pregnant) was may 1st .. I would only have my period for 4 whole days & it always landed on the 1st - 5th of each month . & I did a few of the online calculators & they all came to the 6th of Feb . I know that I won't be pregnant forever . But this is my first & I don't know when I should start to become more cautious as to when the pains are actually contractions or the discharge . Cause I've had discharge the whole pregnancy. I'm just worried ill go into labor & not know . I don't know but thanks for the help ladies .
Hang on. Just read your last comment again. Your last period was the beginning of April, not May? You're due, like, any day now. I am not sure how your doctors managed to miss that. Might want to clarify with them what their records are showing.
Calculation is from the FIRST day of your last menstrual period (LMP), not the last day. Add 9 months and 7 days. If the first day of your LMP was May 1st your EDD is February 8th - but depending on how long your cycle was and when you ovulated, that can change a bit. Don't get too wrapped up in the date - baby will come when baby is ready. Nobody has ever been pregnant forever!
Feb 2, then my Dr. referred me to the perinatal specialist and he said my due date was Feb 17 and said that they didnt measure the baby right, so at the time instead of me being 5 months at the time I saw the specialist I was really only 3 1/2 months. Now when i go i ask him if Im really having a girl and he always says yes to the point where he printed out a pic of her vagina. That time was very confusing to me because they go off the day u concived insted of ur last period.

The first day of my last period was April 30 2013... Before I went to the doctor I DiD the due date calendar online and it gave me a due date of Feb 3, 2014. When I went to the Dr they told me Feb 4, 2014..... You can try one of the online calendars! I have a friend and they gave her 3 different due dates
That's bogus /: lol it makes me saddd . I'm just ready to meet my daughter!! I've been expecting it to be by the 6th & now all hope I had is gone . I guess it'll be okay . she'll be here as soon as she wants to, but thank you (:
