insomnia anyone???

ok so it's 1am and i'm on the computer...anyone else having trouble sleeping? i sleep for a few hours then get up to pee. then i toss and turn for the rest of the night. this is really beginning to get to me.  my dr gave me ambien but it's still at the pharmacy b/c my hubby (who is a nurse) doesn't want me to take it being that it is a class c drug. that means it could cause birth defects.  my dr said not to worry b/c the baby is being delivered by c/s on monday so she is already formed. my hubby said no way. oh well....only 5 more sleepless nights, then the real exhaustion kicks in!!!

OMG...I'd go get that script of ambien at this point!!   Your doctor is right...nothing will happen as far as defects with that script.   If my doc gave me ambien I'd take it...i sleep like **** all the time.   Sometimes I'm up at 4am.  I wake up every 3 to 4 hours.   Sometimes if i wake up to go to the bathroom I have trouple falling asleep. I'm 34 weeks today and am lucky that I'm home on bedrest, fortunately I can catnap all day.

Mine kicks in around 4:00 am. I swear something is going to happen at that. I get up faithfully every night at that time and I cannot go back to sleep.

I only have to make it until August 11th, so I am going to try and ride it out!!!

Take a bendadryl!  I take 1/2 generic sleep aid almost every night to help me sleep. The active ingredient is in benadryl and my dr. has no problem with it. It really takes the edge off and helps me sleep.
