iron levels low!! what does this mean??

I take my prenatals everyday. Just about 39wks. Any suggestions?? Should I be concerned??

Your dr could prescribe you prenatal a plus iron. You'll also need some colace stool softener though. Up your dark green leafy vegetables and beets. Oh and drink some orange juice with your prenatal plus or iron tabs. Vit C helps your body to absorb the iron.

If you loose too much blood when giving birth there can be complications. Sometimes they have to give you a blood transfusion.

Im low in iron too. My midwife suggested taking iron supplements. I take about 150 mg a day. (Including the prenatal) you should ask your doctor.

No you're good :) if you like beets they are iron rich. I am anemic and during pregnancy it is even worse. If you're at 39 wks you will likely see your iron back to normal after delivery.
