Now...think about if this woman...(midtymay)...tries these things ..and  harms herself....or her baby....  Because she does not have a clue...to what they can do....and she still ends up going fullterm...or over...she will be upset...because..nobody told her the truth..about labor.

Kadaajhc...i dont think she was trying to be snobby....just giving advice from experience.   Maybe this isnt her first...maybe she has tried...herself...and know alot that have.   From my experience as well....there is nothing you can do to speed up labor.  The baby will come when it is ready.   She was just trying to help....instead of telling her...what she wants to hear.  It is the truth.

You're coming across the big kind of rude she asked for advice on how to speed up or not  every reason why she shouldn't if she feels as if she's tired and ready to have this baby it's not selfish its her pregnancy she's doing what she wants we are all grown women we are all carrying a child in experiencing different things so maybe if you weren't going to give her advice on how to speed up labor you shouldnt have comment on in the first place haveim js

According to medical professionals walking, castor oil, sex, spicy foods etc are all myths. If it works it's because the baby was ready. The baby is who starts labor not your body so wearing yourself out is pointless. Not too.mention that baby obviously isn't'y ready yet, so you should wait. Unless there is something medically wrong or something going on that we don't know about like your body or the baby fighting an infection etc then the baby won't start labor until it's lungs and brain are fully developed. Before that trying to induce or get labor going is selfish because the baby needs all the time it can get.

Honestly, I've been active this whole pregnancy. When I got checked I was 2 cm and 60% effaced..So I have been forcing myself to power walk instead of 4 miles a day..about 6-7, sex twice a day and squatting and just had a membrane sweep.. Im 39+weeks now and still the same as I was about two weeks ago.. Im a first time mom and I know a lot of times..first timers go overdue..so I am thinking baby is going to come when he or she is ready..good luck mommies:)

I've seen some of the young mums talkin about inserting capsules into their vaginas. .. However personally I wouldn't think its a good thing to do

Again walking.. stairs ... bouncing on exercise ball
I was told lying down etc slows it down so stay active xx
