That does sound so scary. But the new hospital probably has better equipment and staff to care for and monitor your baby. You should feel a bit safer knowing that. I'm no doctor but he looks so strong and healthy in your picts., I can't believe he would be in the NICU very long. Will be praying and hoping that you can hold him soon - that has to be so hard.
Oh I'm so sorry.. I know you must be terrified.. I will be praying for you and your little baby boy!!
Julia,
As a mother who has had a son in the NICU-I can say that it is so very scary, but so very reassuring that your sweet baby is getting the absolute best care!! I am so certain that your baby boy will soon be breathing on his own and showing you how strong he is!! I am sorry you didn't get to hold him before he went to the other hospital, but hopefully you will be able to be with him very soon. I will pray for him and for you and your family.
Take care, Suzanne
Oh wow, I didn't even know that you had your baby, I left you a message the other day to see how you were doing since I hadn't seen you on here for a while. Congrats and I am so sure things will be fine. You are going to be an awesome mom and he is so lucky to have wonderful parents like you two. You guys willl be in my prayers and my daily prayers until we receive news that you all are home doing great. Hope you get better soon and get released soon so you can get to see your DS soon.
You are your DH and DS are all in my thoughts and prayers!!!
I just finished praying for you both and will add you to my daily prayers.
Oh sweetie, I am praying praying praying. I have known folks to have gone through this, and the miracles of medicine have pulled everyone through, and all are doing well. This will be the case for you. You must think that way, though I know you must be so scared, as anyone would be. Your precious little pea is oblivious to what's happening, thankfully, so rest assured this will all be a thing of the past soon, and you will be holding your sweetie in your arms at home. Until then, feel well and get up that strength to be by his side as much as you can as soon as you can. Andyes, cry as much as you need to deal with these heavy emotions. Come to us for support. Be the strongest you've ever had to be and draw on anyone you can for strength. Much love to you and yours.
I will also pray for your beautiful baby. Praying for big life deep breaths of life!

Praying for your little guy to get stronger - and strength for you to handle this - you'll need it when you bring him home .
Poor sweet thing, I'm sure they are going to take excellent care of him and you have all of our prayers!!
I didn't know you had your son- congratulations!!
By sending him to a larger hospital your son will receive the care he needs. I'm sure it's very hard not being able to go with him but you need to do what's best for all of you.
I hope you can be with him for soon I'm sorry you are going thru this and will be thinking of you and your family.
I just finished praying for you and your baby boy.I am so sorry that this is happening to him.Lord give him strength.
Julia, am I missing something??? When did you have him??? I can't believe I missed this news.
Believe me now a days they can do to wondrous things for babies. I am sure they are sending you to the best hospital where your son will receive excellent care. He is going to be hooked up to machines with lots of wires and tubes, it will look very scary but he is okay. Just take in everything day by day or even hour by hour. Remember he WILL get stronger and better and go home.
You are tough woman and awesome mommy, you will have the strength to endure this! Just know it is okay to cry anytime you need to. I will be checking on you daily until Tuesday (my c-section day). Please keep me posted and know that I will be praying for your little man.
Big Hugs,
Rachel
So sorry you're going through all this. I will keep your family in my prayers.
Very sorry this is happening to you. I can't even imagine. I have 2 people in my family who went through what you are going through and their babies were fine after some help.
Keep your chin up, I'll say a prayer for you and your Baby Boy.
