YES you can be pregnant....my current pregnancy I got 2 neg test results at home over a 2 wk time frame.  And it wasnt until I got a blood test done that I found out.  Im 33 wks now.....he's on his way!!! :-)

Absolutely - it took well over a week for the HPT to show up positive for me!  And I was cursing First Response the whole time :)  A blood test confirmed for me before the HPT did so there is definitely hope!  It turns out I ovulated REALLY late which is why it didn't show up sooner.....we were very lucky to catch that egg!

Keep us posted.

Tests can be wrong.  Be sure your urine is concentrated and wait the entire time specified and even a tad longer.  (Don't look at it too late though, because you could see an evaporation line.)  The $Tree tests said 1-3 min, but it took a full 5 for my BFP to show up.  Wait a couple of days and try again.

Absolutley.  It can depend on the brand of the test, and what HCG level it picks up a positive at.  I am sure there are other reasons as well.  False negatives are common.  I wish you luck!!!

Yes.  Many women have taken several HPTs that show negative results days and even weeks after a missed period, and have found out they were pregnant later. (FebruaryBaby) is one that I can think of right off my head...(You may want to msg her)  Reasons could be you ovulated later than expected...or it just took longer for your HCG levels to rise. I'm sure there could be other reasons as well.  Best wishes!
