rainbow baby freakout

Hi there, I'm a mum expecting my rainbow baby after a miscarriage before Xmas and was curious to know, I've had not definitive symptoms email. Good nausea or swelling breasts to give me comfort that everything is going OK. I'm roughly 6+4 weeks and apart from constantly being tired and down with flu like symptoms I've had no other noticeable changes. Anyone else in a similar situation?

A "rainbow baby" is a baby that is born following a miscarriage or still birth.

I believe a rainbow baby is a term used for the next baby conceived after losing a baby to miscarriage or stillborn. Like a miracle baby.

I'm with bunnykissy! What's a rainbow baby? My guess is a baby born into a lesbian relationship. I apologize in advance if I'm wrong.

I'm pregnant with my rainbow baby as well. I been sick with a cold for 2 weeks and it's been Hell. With all these meds I don't wanna hurt him. I'm only 19 weeks. Hope everyone feels better soon.

I had a miscarriage last May and now pregnant 28 weeks with rainbow twins! Like you I was scared and didn't want to get too excited. I also had compilations(bleeding) around 12 weeks, placenta on baby a was covering cervix. Dr took me off work at 13 weeks for multiple high risk factors, I also have thyroid problems I never knew about. But my Dr and specialists closely monitor me and babies. I let myself be happy and try not to stress. When I worry, I give it to God!

Almost 38 years old and 6 weeks pregnant with #6. After all these kids (18, 16, 14, 5, & 3) you would think I would know what to expect and how I would feel but each one is different. No nausea yet or tiredness. Sore breast a bit but that's it. Ultrasound in less than 2 weeks to check things out. Still haven't decided about genetic testing....one thing at a time.
