When was the first time you felt your baby move????/

Hello ladies, My question is when was the first time you felt your baby move?
I'm 19 weeks and I feel him move alittle only is this normal? I am over weigh
I wonder if thats one of the reason I dont feel him move a lot? When do they
really start to move I read that having Interial Placenta makes it harder to
feel the baby move.............

I am also almost 19 weeks but do not feel much. With my first one, which was 9 years ago, I believe I felt much more, much earlier. I did gain some weight in the last nine years (who doesn't :)) but still not on the heavy side, so I don't believe being overweight plays any role here.

I know how you feel though. In fact, several weeks ago, I was so scared but when I went for an amnio, they checked the baby's heartbeat and everything, which showed healthy and normal. So, don't worry. I just think this one is not wanting to be as active as my first one, at least yet. And comparing other symptoms of pregnancy this time with my first one, it is making sense. When is your next doc visit? I will have one on Fri. and definitely check the heartbeat again and also ask her about that too. Don't worry too much. I'm sure he is fine :).

It was 10 years ago but I believe it was about 15 weeks that I felt a flutter. It wasn't a strong movement though. I don't think it is unusual for you not to feel alot of movement yet, he is still very small. He'll be kicking an punch you like crazy before you know it. Don't worry, I'm sure everything is fine.
