tired and grumpy

I'm 38 and expecting my 4th. I already have three, they are 20, 16, and 5 and I'm ten weeks along. I feel so much more tired this time around. All I want to do is lay around and eat. I feel sad most of the time. Worry about everything. I could cry writing this. Ugh ... I'm tired and just feel lazy and grumpy. Is this normal or does it happen to older women more? Just curious ... Will I ever get more energy?

I to am 38 weeks.. with my first child and I am done and over being pregnant. I work full time plus overtime and at this point am ready to sit at home and take care of my child..I feel super heavy walking is a struggle and my feet have been swollen for the past week. Went to doc appointment today and I am not making any progress not thinning or dilated at all. Haven't even had a contraction. .. so no you are not the only one who is tired and grumpy at this point

Adinac- no I felt the same way at the beginning of my pregnancy. I am 41 and currently 32 weeks and 4 days and expecting my fifth child. My older kids are 20 18 17 and 5. So I know how you feel. It will pass. Except for probably feeling every ache and pain. Good luck and if you need to chat just let me know.

Hey I am 38 expecting my first baby! I just realized that the forums were listed for Mothers age instead of Pregnancy weeks. Lol I am so glad because I just knew I was the only pregnant 38yr old on here.. I am totally grumpy, swollen, EXHAUSTED, wishing I would have done this sooner, scared, depressed etc etc. I have also gained so much weight that this app says its excessive, so that gives me anxiety knowing the weight is not going to fall off too quickly. BLESS you guys for having other children to tend to and be pregnant. Tending to my Husband is exhausting enough. Ha

I'm 36 weeks pregnant and 37, I have 3 boys aged 17, 15 and 5, this one's a surprise but I'm in agreement with you all I keep wandering round the house in a daze looking at everything I should be doing but just can't quite get round to. So when I have even the slightest bit of energy I'm doing something lol. Really hoping after the birth I run off adrenaline or I'm in trouble! Got my suitcase still to organise but got a wkend away at a wedding first. Just hoping I go to term so I can catch up somehow lol good luck everyone you all sound amazing! We all know how hard enough it is running a house with out carrying a baby and all that comes with it xxx
