Ok, so now this makes more sense. Trying is correct as far as I know. Have they offered anything? I believe this is a common concern with short cycles, but it is easily treatable as far as I know. I wish you two luck and hope that her IUI is a successful one!
Usually Estrace or some other form of estrogen is given to thicken the lining. Drs like it to be 8-12mm for implantation to be successful. If its over 15 mm that can hinder implantation as well. Good luck.
Confused is exactly where I'm at. Her cycle is 24 days long. Started on the first so today is CD 12 with the lining measuring 2mm. She should have a LH surge tomorrow. So I'm thinking her lining will be between 4 & 6 mm when she actually ovualates... right? If that's the case how is this treated in order to concieve & stay preg? Thanks so much for your reply.
Hmm...I am a little confused. When did her last period end and how long are her cycles? I am just confused that the tech commented on her period just ending, and another saying she should ovulate tomorrow. Most women ovulate about 14 days prior to their period starting. Does she have a short cycle?
