water broke or mucus plug??

Help! I don't know if it was just mucus plug or not. Felt a small gush, it stopped, then came back. Went to the bathroom and the stuff was a little thick? I don't know what is going on

Go to the hospital once my waters broke I went ftom 2cm dialated to having had her in an hour no time gor pain relief! !!

That's happen to me and have had contractions everyday but they are irregular my Dr suggested to wear a regular pad and if socks in one day it's most definitely ur water that has broken but not to worry because some lose their mucus lil by lil like I have.

Gthats exactly how my water broke last week. Small gush with a lot of mucus plug.. and then the gush kept coming until I reached the hospital.  I went from 0 cm to 4 cm in 3 hrs. After and 30 hrs later had my baby..  sounds like you are about to have urbaby... good luck :)

You should go to hospital and have it checked out. I lost my water and kept losing until I got to the hospital. I ended up having the baby after that since my labor started within a few hours. If you lost significant amount of water baby is at risk for infection.
