i had the infantino and it worked great when she was really small but then the seam was too tight on her head and left a mark. i bought a hotsling at target (not all carry them and you can get better material selection online but for more$$) and she loves it. she can ride in the pouch and sleep or on my hip. they are great arent they! i have found a few others but they can be very pricey.
I bought a maya wrap (mayawrap.com), a bit pricey but you can use it up to 35 pounds and on your hip/back. I love it!! Gabriel is not a daytime sleeper, so I wear him and he sleeps!! I have also used it in restaurants during supper (his fussy time) and he stayed quiet and slept so I could enjoy my meal. Since I went back to work I don't get to use it too much, but it will come in handy for a long time. The video also shows you how to use it as a "leash" (that is what I call it) for when they start walking.
Its called a sling rider made by infantino.
they have all kinds.. I wanted to go cheap in case she didnt like it. I too, am new to these things and didnt use one with my first dd. glad I gave it a try.
Jen,
I would think he would like it, It says birth to 20lb, and then it goes up the next size. Its just crazy how she just relaxed durning her fussy time and made a coo sound and went out to sleep. When I use it again today, I will send you a phot of her.. in it.just toooooo sweet. It gives them the snuggle effect. no need for a blanket.
I'd love to know also, I would like more info on the slings :)
what is the name of the sling? I'm curious - do you think that Noah (7 1/2 weeks) would be too big for it? We didn't use a sling but rather a bjorg which is more of a carrier than a sling. I wish we would've bought one.
