1 baby 2 sacs

I had a lady who is learning to do ultrasounds and asked me if she could do one on me.  I of course was willing because come on who doesnt want to see their baby.  When she was doing it she said she noticed 2 sacs but we only saw 1baby and 1 heartbeat. Has anyone else ever experienced this.  I'm 9 weeks and won't have my first doc appt until next week.  I'm trying not to get my hopes up for twins but it's hard not too.

It is more likely to be an empty sac from an embryo that faded weeks ago than it is to be a twin now.  At 9 weeks, you would have seen two babies and two heartbeats, and they would be floating around and moving like little teddy bears.  Not one baby and one empty sac.
