Worry at 8 weeks
I went in for my check up @8 weeks 1 day based on my lmp.Doc couldn't detect my baby heart beat.My fetal pole & yolk sac are seen but the fetal pole measured at 6 Weeks 2 days. Doc suggested that it may be early pregnancy & asked to come back again in a week.I'm still having nausea, breast tenderness everyday. Anyone here have not seen the baby heart beat at 8 weeks but gotten a good news?
Usually doctors are able to detect heartbeat at 6wks.. however its not necessary as every baby grows at its own time.. if you are indeed 6wks do not stress.. you may have ovulated or conceived later... your next scan should show some progress... Do not worry and take care of yourself...
If the baby is only 6 weeks (which is possible), then its plausible that they can't detect the heartbeat yet. As hard as it may be, give it another week for some more growth. Might be just too early.
