34 week ultrasound and baby was hiding :(

anyone else have this happen? Ur baby is already head down and facing backwards so u don't even get to see his sweet face during an ultrasound when you could really see his features. I'm a little upset.. I kno he will be healthy as I'm 34 weeks and he's already showing to be 6lbs.  Just a little bummed I guess!

My baby has been head down since 30 weeks, I am 39 weeks now. Baby has faced backwards and forwards and occationally switches while they so my ultrasounds! It's sad that you don't get the cute pictures but good that baby is practicing the right position!!!!

For every single ultrasound we had the dr, baby was either facing my back or was snuggled against my placenta.  Never got a good picture...  we ended up getting an elective 3D ultrasound done where they said we could reschedule if we didn't get a good face shot.  Thankfully, they were able to get baby to shift just a little bit and we finally got a face pic.  It was supposed to be a 10 min session, but we were there nearly 40 mins trying to get the shot.
