3hour blood draw

Has anyone here failed the 1hour glucose test and had to go back for the 3 hour test? I was a borderline diabetic for the last 11/2 years but my last test was great. Now im 10the weeks pregnant and i failed. Not gonna lie im kinda nervous, my dad is a diabetic. But here is my question, can you drink water during the fasting time? I was a little in shock when the doc called and i only remember her saying no food and im thirsty since i cant sleep from stress lol

Thanks for the advice. I never got a letter, i called the doc office because my all day sickness got really bad over the weekend to the point i couldnt even keep water down and when they called to check on me they just said some of your blood work came back abnormal and i needed to come in as soon as i could this week to do a 3-4whatever hour blood test.  How did your test turn out?

It the letter they said not to drink anything even water but when I got to the hospital for the test I almost fainted during the 2nd blood test and they told me then that water was ok to drink. Don't stress yourself about it, pick up a phone and ask your midwife. It's not a silly question and having sleepless night because of it it's not good for you and the baby.
