Hello- I am getting ready to start my third trimester and am contemplating finished my masters program thesis. I am concerned I might be too tired to endure this large a project with a demanding job. Anyone have any thoughts?

Then I would attempt it and set yourself deadlines each week for each chapter and it's draft then get them in to your supervisor and ask for quick feedback. Do not stress yourself though or you will actually make it it harder for yourself.

I have 10 weeks to complete the thesis and it is 30 pages total. If I do have to drop out of the class due to medical reasons I can take an incomplete and finish when I am able.

I should also add that I have a preexisting disability and this pregnancy has been exceptionally difficult with dislocations, SPD and hyperemesis however I have found my work an escape from that. It depends on how you feel about your research/topic, your mindset and what your support from supervisors and faculty is like. Every situation is different.

I am 28 weeks pregnant and a current PhD student. I am also currently researching and writing up my thesis. This is a tricky one as there's a lot at play. Can I ask how long you have to write up your masters thesis? Also what is the word count and is there a definitive deadline that you cannnot go past? I am taking 6 months leave from my studies two weeks before my second baby is born. In the next 10 weeks I will be aiming to complete a lot of work and in the last 3 weeks I have written 25% of my doctoral thesis. So it IS possible,  but you also need to have an escape clause in case anything goes wrong in your pregnancy and you're not able to complete.

I would wait if I were you and had a choice! The added demands on your body beyond the already demanding job and everyday life is going to catch up with you very quickly. You could even risk starting to show high blood pressure due to stress... I wouldn't, but ultimately it's your decision. I know just going to work everyday became almost impossible for me around 35/36 weeks and I sit inferring of a computer all day. The pressure in my pelvis as well as the normal stress of the job became too much. I have now been on bed rest since my 36th week and I'm exhausted, but feeling less stress since I'm not required to have a stressful daily routine any more... I get to focus on my son, husband, and preparing for our new bundle of joy. I would suggest waiting it gets overwhelming all of the sudden at the end!
