Trying to jump start labor, because my mother leaves the country in a week. I went on a 3 mile power walk tonight, had sex, and used my breast pump (which was more painful than I anticipated).  I am hoping something will happen for me soon. I've had a few mild contractions but too far apart to matter and never consistent "( I am not trying to be impatient but I cant help it, im soooo ready for some relief. I gained 50lbs with this lil guy, and I feel every single pound.  #38wks+6days

I'm in the same boat. My mom just got in from CA and won't be able to stay too long so I'm hoping my little guy arrives early. I'm considering castor oil. My mom has used it and says it works with wonders back in her day. Lol. I'm just waiting until my next doc appointment to be sure the castor oil would be safe with my medical conditions. Good luck to you. I hope you're able to work something out ;-)

Not a ftm, actually my third baby...and I thought a three mile walk it was extremely long to me anyways lol

I am also due in 8 days. I am trying to  do everything to start my labour. No signs of labour yet. I also gained lots of wait and literally look like an elephant.  Lol. Hope to hear your birth story soon. Are FTM?
