Advice please

Hello ladies my girl is now 5 weeks old I was just wondering if it's safe to start doing pre natal exercises if you feel up to doing so because I know doctors say wait till your baby is 6 weeks and I also had raised blood pressure am I ok to exercise did any of you?

I would ask the doctor, if your not fully healed down there and you start to exercise you can shock your body and start bleeding again. That's what happened to me. I didn't do anything crazy, just walking in the mornings at the mall and my body wasn't ready completely for it. I had stopped bleeding and was starting to heal when I apparently pushed myself. Now I also broke my tailbone due to a slip and fall which caused me to be induced so that also could have factored in. But if your baby is five weeks, you might as well wait to see your doctor and get the okay.

Drs generally say 6 weeks for regular birth, no complications, 8 weeks for c-section, definitely ask your dr first, especially with elevated blood pressure.

You would probably be ok to do light exercise but your so close if I were you I would wait untill the Drs all clear in a week. If you do exercise don't push too hard.
