After Birth ~Update~

Hi, ladies I know most don't do this, but I appreciate all the love you guys sent me, and Isaiah (that's his name). Thank you again! Well, after I pushed my life away which wasn't easy by the way. Pause... the epidural only works to take the contraction pain away not that pelvic pain. Our bodies were made to feel that pain to know when to push baby out. So don't think that the epidural will make labor super easy for you like ppl say. Ok, back to the story. Lol there's always a funny part to a story after I pushed baby out. One of the students my doctor had with him turned red like he was going to faint and ran out the door. I looked at my doctor he says this is his first time with a smile lol. My husband said the poor man thru up all over the floor. Anyhow, after I delivered the baby I had to delivery the placenta. Then, I started to bleed alot (sorry tmi). Which wasn't normal, because I didn't rip nor tear. So the doctor said I had blood clots left in there. This man takes his hand and digs the clots out. Talking about wanting to hurt someone!  I cursed him out the entire time. Later, I apologized:). That seem to slow down the bleeding. So later they took me to my room where they put me on pitocin! Yes pitocin! That's the medicine to cause contractions. So it felt like I was in labor all over again. They said it was to help the bleeding, because I bleed so much after birth. Making this looooonggg story short they were trying to keep me on the pitocin for 24hours! Yea they took me off immediately! My bleeding was under control. We came home yesterday. I'm still contracting which is the wrose part, but I'm fine with that. I have my prince, no rips nor tears, and this wonderful pain medicine:) Can't beat that! Feel free to ask any additional questions ladies. Good luck!

Omg how horrible!!! I can't even imagine the pain you went through!! Thank goodness for me the epidural worked amazingly and all I felt was when I pushed out. After birth I did have lots of cramps but mainly when I was breastfeeding. Glad you and baby are good and out now . congrats again sweetie!!
