Honestly,  I bled a lot harder with my 2nd the my 1st.  We picked up adult diapers on the way home.  Saved my sheets.  After about a week I went to the Always overnights with wings.

Depends or other incontinence pants.  Way more comfortable than pads.

Definitely the huge pads with wings. And if you tear, witch hazel pads are a life saver! They are little round pads soaked in witch hazel and you put them on top of the big pad. They gave me some at the hospital after I gave birth to my daughter and got a third degree tear. I went home and bought more. They were a life saver!

Take all the pads you can from the hospital. And I like the stay free over night pads, wings do help to stay in place.

I agree. There's a lot of bleeding after, don't go to small.

I personally like an overnight pad with wings! But I've been wearing those for years and have a latex allergy so I can only use one brand of pads bc I know it's latex free!
