Breastfeeding helped me lose all 28 lbs plus 5 more pounds. I did it for a year though so it wasn't overnight!

I just had my 4th baby 3 weeks ago and I don't really do anything special to loose weight I have a high metabolism I weighed 165...3 weeks ago and now I'm down to 139..my pre pregnancy weight is 110..I just will need to tone everything back up.....I had all my babies natural so I had no csections so I recovered really fast up walking around as soon as I had my kids..people look at me like they can't believe how fast I loose weight or bounce back after birth....I never take any pills to loose weight I basically eat whatever I want but I do try to eat as healthy as I can & drink lots of water..after my postpartum checkup I'll be working out to tone everything back up

I also have cesarean deliveries, expecting my 7th to be exact. I had about 4 weeks of post partum bleeding. I honestly didn't get my first period until I my babies were 9+ weeks, my last 3 I actually didn't get my first menstrual cycle until after my babies were 6 months or older. Although I exclusively breastfed. Every woman and delivery are different though! I walked in the hospital wearing an large in maternity clothes and walked out wearing my medium size "own" clothing lol. I gain a lot of weight in my pregnancies but I lose it rather quite rapidly. I am back to my pre pregnancy size in 2 months, breastfeeding helps my uterus contract back to its previous size. Which helps a lot! My first pregnancy took about 3 months as I didn't move much, after the first cesarean it was a walk in the park for the rest of them. Due for my 7th cesarean delivery October the 17th and really hoping I have the same luck as my previous 6 births!! Try light exercise, definitely stay busy it also helps heal your incision faster then you would expect, breast feed if possible, watch your carb intake, be cautious about white noddles, white potatoes, white bread etc. Definitely watch your sugar intake. Lean towards more of a grain healthy diet. It does magic for me!!! I weigh at 130 before pregnancy and gain at least 50 pound (seriously) and am able to lose it quickly using the above methods. Congratulations!! Blessings!!

Breastfeeding really helps with losing weight. Unfortunately, I had a lot of problems & had nothing to feed my daughter after 3 months. I also had trouble with pain near my insicion so I waited months before exercing. My daughter is now just over one years old & I weigh 20lbs more than my pre-pregnancy weight. Now I'm 8 weeks pregnant & hoping recovery is better this time around. Hope you can get the exercising in and eat healthy, it'll be the best option if you're breastfeeding.

After the 6week rest I plan on running n boxing. Running and weights melts you very fast theirs no other easy way to lose weight. No shakes no magical pills.

It takes your entire body a year to recover from having a baby so it can take up to that long to lose all of the baby weight just don't try to kill yourself because this sounds so long

It took 9 months to gain it, it should take 9 months to lose it :)
