Anxiety attacks starting over Ebola

They're moving the Texas nurse with ebola to Maryland where I live. This is totally scaring me for my family.

I agree. Our government is sneaky. I believe they are letting it spread on purpose. I'm due in February and I am terrified. I don't even want to be in a hospital now.

I also live in Maryland.  Not sure why they are flying her here when that just seems like it will spread more.  When are you due?  I'm due in January and I hope this is all cleared up before I go into the hospital!

The hospital here in MD is better equipped to take care of such diseases and apparently Dallas TX doesn't have much there to help.

I live in Maryland also and I pray it does not spread. I'm worried too being pregnant and a son in school not far from the hospital

I also live in Texas, only about 40 miles from Dallas where these people have been and like stated above it is not airborne. If you listen to some of the cdc people they even admit there's been a breach of protocol. It is NOT airborne and the media is just trying to scare people since they apparently have nothing else to report. Don't touch blood, vomit, urine, poop, or other body fluids and you'll be fine. Just use common sense precautions and you won't catch it

I think people are freaking out because its being over reported by media. It's on every channel every hour or so. People are spreading rumors and saying things that happened in the movie outbreak. The disease is not airborne and if it was it would be spreading 10x faster. Take a deep breath and relax.

I am hearing just the opposite. Apparently the cdc is lacking as far as telling the truth. Thst it actually is airborne.

I live in TX. Your more likely to die of obesity or getting hit by a car then ebola. Don't eat **** or put human fluids in you that have come in contact with people from west Africa and you will be fine.

You can relax honey. Unless you're having unprotected sex or touching feces/urine or blood of the person infected, you won't be getting ebola. It is transmitted much the same way as AIDS/HIV. The reason there has been such a large outbreak in West Africa is because they do not have the medical facilities and preparation that we do here. The two cases here in the US are actually pretty rare, they have just been over dramatized by the media. Think about it. 2 people in the entire United States. That's a very tiny percentage. Ebola is not an airborne virus, so unless you are a doctor or nurse working directly with the patient, you have nothing to worry about.

I'm in Australia so no cases recorded yet.. But just keep your hand sanitiser in your bag and be cautious. You can't catch it unless you come in direct contact with bodily fluids of an infected person! The hospitals and authorities will be taking every precaution they know to ensure it does not spread!!

I love in omaha and we had one here a while back just got another one not to long ago.  It is scary but perfectly safe to. These hospitals know what they're doing and take all the precautions necessary to ensure public safety
