Anyone else due today?!

Well! I've officially made it 40 weeks! No sign of my daughter though, I was hoping she'dmake a political debut being its election day :-) I guess there's will time, its only 9 am. I don't want to rush her with induction , and I won't unless medically necessary but I've burnt a almost 2 weeks of my 12 week maternity leave and I'm going stir crazy with nothing to do. Plus IM SUPER excited to meet her! Please tell me I'm not alone.

Well, about an hour after writtimg this I started having not so fun contractions (had them last night too) they were every 7 mins apart for about an hour...then they quit for about 45 minutes. Now they are back again 8-10 minutes apart.. they arnt making me hit the floor but definitely more intense then I've ever experienced..... back feels like its breaking , and lower belly feels like its slightly ripping apart, and of course the pressure and tightness of my upper belly, lasts about 20-30 seconds. Does this sound like the real deal?? I'm a ftm and have no idea!!!!!! I have strep B so can't really labor at home like I want. But I will be pis sed if I make my hubby come home from work, drive 15inutes from the hospital and then get sent home... someone help?
