Who cares as long as you and baby are healthy. Everyone carries baby differently and we all had different bodies before baby too. One is not 'better' than another. You shouldn't think you're better or worse than someone else. Healthy momma and healthy baby looks different with everybody.
I'm 40 weeks & still get told I'm small & that I'm going to have a small baby. It's annoying, but I'm thankful I didn't get huge. I mean I still gained 30 lbs & my midwife says I'm doing perfect & baby is a normal size. Everybody has an opinion when it comes to a preggo mama & I hear it gets worse once the baby arrives lol
Same here I'm 5'7 always been thin but I'm 7 months and 2 weeks and I probably look like I'm 5 months I hear that alot as well take it as a compliment just because ur pregnant dosent always mean u have to be huge and swollen every ones body is diffrent.
Who cares what other people think. If your doctor happy then you have no concerns. We all grow at different times. I expanded after 30 weeks. Congrats and enjoy the pregnancy.
I am turning 36 weeks on Wednesday and I weigh 138 I get the same thing a lot I was 119 before pregnancy so idk with both my previous pregnancies both girls I gained a lot specially with my first almost got to 190 anyways point is every pregnancy is different I think n just try to ignore people's rude or irrelevant *** comments ... It hey aren't doctors .... If the doc says you are fine then that's that . Everyone else's opinion shouldn't even matter . Unless they have some kind of practice in obstetrics lol
Well I'm complete opposite I gain so much so quick. My first pregnancy I had a lady at church constantly tell me i looked like i was having twins EVERY week. People tend to say things they shouldn't but you just can't take it to heart. As long as your baby is healthy keep doing what your doing.
I got the same thing. Depending on how you feel that day do what you want, sometimes I won't even tell someone I'm pregnant, sometimes I'll just agree with them. Most times I tell people my due date and they won't bother to do the math so we just change the subject haha :) if I'm talking to other pregnant women I just make a bigger deal about morning sickness so that they feel better about their size.
I'm 25weeks and I'm showing a lot to me but I went to the dentist and gave them my note of being pregnant and they said where is the baby? but I've gained. 26 pounds (total of 146) but I just take the comments with a grain of salt and let it go. Everyone says I'm little and my midwife says I'm fat idk what to think lol plus I'm like you I don't eat bad my portions are just more I refuse to not eat when I'm hungry.
Thanks for sharing your story!! It's nice to know someone else knows what I'm dealing with! And YES! We will bounce back quickly!! No post pregnancy baby fat!
I'm 29 weeks and it's the same thing with me. Everyone thinks I'm 3 or 4 months pregnant lol. I used to go to the gym 6 times a week and work out daily and even after slowing down I've only gained 10 lbs. I try to take it as a compliment because I could be huge and unhealthy or fit and tiny and as long as the doc saways baby is healthy nothing else matters. I'm just now getting comments on looking pregnant. We will bounce back in no time!
