I haven't tested positive but do what she recommended.
I tested posative and it wasn't a big deal at all. IV antibiotics during labor and you're all done. Don't stress about it my OB said about 50% of women have it
I tested positive during my 1st pregnancy, too. It's very common. IV antibiotics during labour are a precaution for your little one. Babies can get very sick in the first little while with complications from the Strep, so it's good to go for the antibiotics. The IV is no hassle at all. It all kind of just happens! Hope you have great doctors and midwives to help you through. They do an amazing job!
I had it with my past two kids just need 4 hours of antibiotics during labor dont wouldn't stressed about and please don't google! No worries Hun
