Argh not coping!

This heat (in Aus) is really starting to get to me. I'm only 25 weeks and I will be full term in the middle of summer but already I've got swollen hands and feet, I feel nauseas and I'm freaking out about coping when I'm only going to get bigger and it's only going to getting hotter. :'( any suggestions ladies?

Level your feet & try too stay cool throughout the day. It's totally normal. It just recently cooled down her in California, i had the same problem! It could be from too much salt also.

What helped me is taking cool baths, putting cold packs on my neck, eating ice cream. The heat is awful, I live in Houston tx with heat index all summer of 110. It has been awful cause my air conditioner is horrible. I wish you luck

I feel your pain. I live in Arizona, US. I'm 38w3d and about half of my pregnancy I've dealt with triple digit temps and humidity. Ugh! It's aweful!

So, my tips for you: drink lots of water (have it with you at all times and drink often), take walks during more bearable temps, take cooler showers/baths, keep your salt intake to a minimum and wear loose cotton clothing.

*drinking water and walking really do help with the swelling problem.

Good luck and congrats!

Where about a in Australia? I'm south of Sydney and with my first, I was about 25 weeks on Christmas Day - my feet swelled up then until she was born on 25/3. This pregnancy will be the same so I'm expecting it this time
