Baby Billy is here!

Friday we were ready to go to the hospital when they called us and said our planned csection due to preeclamplsia had to be pushed back because of a big storm the night before. Our ob said to still come in for monitoring tho as we were high risk and they would do it when everything was sorted out. So we went in and got comfortable for a long wait but Saturday I woke at 5am with contractions 10mins apart. My ob came and saw me and they put the monitor on for a while and said they were getting closer together so they were sending me to the labour ward where they would check me. When we got down there they were 2mins apart and painful so they prepped me for an emergency csection. They tried to give me a spinal but it didn't work so I had to have a general. When I woke up my husband introduced me to our beautiful baby boy (we didn't find out the gender) born 3.5kgs at 36+1. He is just gorgeous and loves his formula. Good luck mummies!
