Baby is here!!!!
I gave birth yesterday at 220pm to a healthy baby boy.I was 38 +5 weeks I had contractions off and on all night....when they got 10 mins apart I came in. I got to the hospital at approx 9am they checked me I was at 2 cm. I planned to do natural birth contractions got really strong I was 4 cm at about 12 pm. I asked for a epidural because do to me not breathing well through the pain of contractions his heart rate was dropping. I got the epidural around 1pm...they checked me after I was already at 6 cm and my water finally broke. I delivered him at 220pm 6lBs 7 ozs and 19 1/2 inches long.He was born with a cleft lip on one side no cleft palate but he latches on very well for feedings...I am so happy ..relieved and in love!!!!

Aww massive congratulations. You done so well. I have 3 weeks to go. Terrified of the labour, but if I need the epidural I'm just gonna go for it. My pain thresholds not great. All the best for future
