If you don't do it when their baby, in my family--  we had a neat 'getting older ritual'.  When you turned 7, we went as a family and got our ears pierced.  I felt so grown up and it was meaningful to me.  Like a rite to passage.  Just thought I would throw that in.  I was proud to show off my earrings at school!  If I had a daughter, I'd probably do it that way because it was fun to have it be a big deal for me where I could understand it.  :<)

I think is is two or three months here but my babies were always big so I took them in at like a couple weeks and said yea sure when they asked if she was the two or three months old.

2 months, after her her shots. I think me trying to hold her her held still bothered her more than the actual piercing.

Where I live you can get it done right after being born, in the hospital. Midwife or nurse will do it the first day. Maybe ask in hospital if they'll do or?

I have no idea the age. But i got my daughters ear pierced at 4 or 5 months old by a professional,  so I'm assuming somewhere around there.

Lol I Alex this about a month ago.  I think I'm gonna wait until about between 3-6 mo., before she's even able to start pulling on them.  Good luck

I wanna get then while she's lil enough not to mess with them like pulling on them. And lil enough where she won't remember the pain.
I had mine done when I was a Baby but my mom took them out cause she thought they were infected but turns out they weren't she was just paranoid lol.
Well when I was 4-5, I begged and begged to get them done my mom hesitated but agreed. And ow I remember that!! I hated her for like ever cause she let me get my ears pierced lol. And I just wanna do my daughters while she's lil enough to not remember and won't mess with them

My mom had mine pierced when I was 18 months and my sister was 9 months. I've always been really glad they did it that way! I didn't know what was happening then... where as when I was older I would have been freaking out! Lol. Saved me some stress.
