Belly button popping out?

I'm 23 weeks and my hub thought he'd be cute and stuck his finger in my belly button when I got out  of the shower. He asked me what was wrong with it because it felt so shallow! When I looked down at it, it was obviously more shallow and the top of the button itself felt super soft. Kinda like fresh new skin.
So, I know buttons pop during pregnancy, but is this how it starts? I'm a bit over weight and I've got a super deep belly button. I was actually worried it wouldn't even pop out. If I pull the skin tight it almost looks like a tiny little hernia.
I'm excited if it is. Can't wait to look like a turkey timer went off on my belly.

I'm 25 weeks now and had a very deep belly button as well. It hasn't popped completely out yet, but it has definitely started to shallow out quite a bit. We'll see as time goes on. Lol I started playing with it too so I know what you mean when you said it looks like a small hernia.

Mine stretched out at the beginning, got shallow, then around the top it started bulging out. Sounds just like what you're describing. The skin is super soft there.

My button never popped. It got shallow, but never actually popped out.
