Birth Story!!

Hello ladies, so here it is for those that know my story and those that dont. Jabari Eugene McNeal has arrived, 9/21/2014..  37+2 at 1:28am weighing 6lbs 1oz and 19" long. He is doing well.

So Thursday I came to hospital contracting every 5-6 min and painful.  Was 3cm 50% effaced and was sent homeIin early stage labor because I wasnt progressing fast enough, so was released and walked home from hospital to try and progress (we live only a few blocks away). So I labored at home thursday night, all day friday, was contracting but they wouldnt regulate, lost my mp friday and Saturday afternoon started contracting every 2-3min and strong, so at 2pm came to hospital and was admitted at 4pm after progressing to 5cm in an hour. By 11pm I was fully dialated (NO EPIDURAL) but a peice of my cervix wouldnt budge, so doc put me on pitocin and I pushed him out at 1:28am... I have to tell you, the contractions wernt terrible until I got the pitocin, I thought I was going to pass out but Iim proud of myself I can officially say I did a natural birth.

Thank you ladies! Im not sure it was bravery.. lol I had an epidural with my 2 others but have a really bad experience the 2nd time and already suffer from excruciating back pain and didnt want to aggravate it it was hard but I am proud thay I did it, it is difficult but the pain after delivery was nextvto none, I have some cramping and sore muscles do to tensing up but I havnt taken any pain meds at all. So good luck to those ladies who will try it just remember keep an open mind and dont be ashamed if you cant. I was on pitocin and did it and honestly wpuldnt choose to do it again. But without pitocin maybe.
