Braxton hicks come more frequent to labor?

I'm finding I actually feel bh with this pregnancy more so I'm just interested to know do bh come more frequent and painful the closer to labor you are.  every night thenlast week around this time of night I get bh that feel like menstrual cramps and back labor combined coming at odd intervals so I know they aren't real.  but they do get more painful every night.  could this mean labor is near?

I get these pains way to often no matter what I do.  I am so not use to them and then in the morning I always wake up with menstrual cramping.  did not experience this with the other pregnancies

You can have real contractions before labor, starting to dialate you and get things ready.  Menstral like cramping that wraps around to tge back sounds more like real contractions then braxton hicks.  Labor could be soon, but its always hard to say for sure!
