crib question

should I wait or get the crib now im 32 weeks and baby will be here early Dec late November my husband said to wait so we can get it as a xmas gift but I want to get it now, we have the bassinet already so not sure what to do any advise?

It's up to you, but I personally got the nursery furniture first.

I'd go ahead and get it. I got my youngest his around that time. And honestly, u may not feel like putting it up later lol I loved putting ours together with my husband but if I had waited, I know I definitely wouldn't have wanted to deal with all the screws and stuff. Plus it was cool to look at it before he came and imagine him in there, sleeping and being totally cute lol

It was about 2 months before my first went into a crib. But I also had it just because it made me feel ready even tho it wasnt needed at birth. So I think its a personal thing not necessarily needed immediately tho

I'm have a bad case of OCD so I insisted her room be completely finished before my baby shower. Just depends. You really don't need it right now. My daughter will sleep in her cradle in our room for the first few months but I still wanted her room complete :)

I would wait if you already have a bassinet and have a chance if getting the crib as a gift.
