Breast feeding

I'm all about breast feeding and plan to do it as long as I can. My first and only kid is 14 years old and I had to start giving her formula at 6 months cause I couldn't produce enough milk but it's been so long and formulas have changed. So my question is if I can't breast feed until the age of one, what formulas would you mommies recommend I use?

The pediatrician will be able to help you with that... my daughter was on Enfamil Newborn until I gave her Enfamil Infant... I first tried Similac Advantage and she couldnt tolerate it-- threw up everywhere... there were times when she had a sensitive stomach for a week or 2 and the doctor gave me a sample of Enfamil ProSobe (the soy one) and Enfamil Gentlease... but she did well on just the Enfamil Infant the majority of the time (WIC really saved us)... we moved to AZ when she was 7 months and they didnt have a contract with Enfamil, only Similac, so we had to switch and when we tried it the 2nd time she did fine

Similac advance and Enfamil Infant are both good too. With formula it might be a hit or miss for a little since some babies tolerate it very well right off the bat and others require some trial and error. All these companies also make formula for supplementing which is designed to be super close to breast milk to make it easier on moms who need to supplement. You could try those as well.

Gerber Good Start Gentle. Its the one with the orange labeling. Its very easy on the tummy and its one of the cheaper ones.
