Breastfeeding? ??

So this is my 4th child and I have only ever gotten about 6 weeks worth of breastfeeding in for each. Most likely due to my frustration and feeling like I simply didn't produce enough. So this time I am going to take some supplements. Started researching amd found there is simply to many different sites that tell me what I should take amd when to start. ..issue is they are contradicting.
I am thinking mothers milk tea and something else...? Anyone know a tried and proved way to get the milk and keep it flowing?

Thank you guys for the suggestions. ..seriously. I am ordering the mothers milk organic tea. I will make some lactation cookies and also eat oatmeal for breakfast and a ton of water. Hopefully with all of that and not giving up/stressing out I will make it past the six week hump I seem to get

I heard fenugreek and I will be taking that when it comes time. My milk didn't last long with my first.

Remember to eat healthy throughout the day and todrink lots of water. Try not to worry about it either. I had started giving my baby formula to supplement and I started producing less milk. My lactation nurse told me to take Mothers Milk Plus capsules, twice the amount on the label (so I took 2 at a time), and after doing that a couple of times I was already producing a lot and didnt even need to take more after that.

My baby is 3 months
And I have been EBF since he was born
I take mother milk tea about 3 cups a day
And I eat oatmeal every morning
After my baby breastfeeds I pump for a out 10-15min but remember the best way to keep your milk at a good flow is to keep baby on breast. And soon your body will know how much milk to make
I haven't even used formula for my baby
My milk keeps up with him.
Good luck

Yes pumping can help increase supply but not all women can pump. I don't respond to the pump. The best way to tell if you're making enough is to count diapers. Baby is much more efficient at getting all the milk out vs a pump. By 6 weeks most women's milk supply has regulated and it can seem like they don't have as much milk but most of the time they have plenty

You know what for me I had to pump with both my girls and that's how I could tell I was making enough.  I pump every two hours for 25 min but this time I'm hoping my son will latch on that will make my life easier.  But if u start breastfeeding and 6 weeks in you start having issues start pumping.

I nursed both my kids for over a year. The thing that helped me the most was educating myself on breastfeeding BEFORE I had the baby. I read a book called The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding. It really helped ease my stress and answered all my questions. I choose not to supplement with formula. I pump occasionally if baby needs a bottle when I'm not around or my supply is down for a few hours. Just keep educating yourself and try not to have too much anxiety about it. It's hard work but so very worth it!

Fenugreek I believe its an herbal supplement.  I have taken it before and it increases milk production.  Also the more you nurse/pump the more your body makes because its a supply/demand.

Brewer's yeast. Comes in powder form to add to cookies and other foods, and capsules. Fenugreek. Also comes in capsule form. Steel cut oats and almond help production. I used to eat oatmeal with almond milk for breakfast. Look up lactation cookie recipes. Water and lots of it..drink a gallon a day. Pumping is not a good indicator of milk supply. Go by how many wet diapers baby has during the day. Good luck!
